A Small Identity, a Whole Feeling
One of my favourite things about branding is how a few considered details can create a whole feeling. A typeface with just the right personality. A colour that sets the mood. A small graphic detail that brings a little charm. Together, they begin to tell a story before you have said anything at all. It is why I love working on smaller branding projects. There is something so lovely about taking an idea and giving it a visual world of its own.
A little look at L’AMOUR
…
L’AMOUR is a mini branding project for a beautiful swimwear collection. The direction was inspired by old-world romance, with a modern twist. Effortless, feminine and a little nostalgic. I wanted the identity to capture that feeling and give the collection a personality of its own.
Romantic, playful and full of charm. Just how I like it.
Projects like this are a lovely reminder that a focused identity can still have depth. When the details feel connected, they give you something to build on, from the way you introduce a collection to the way you share its story.
So, what do I mean by a mini brand identity?
A mini brand identity is a smaller, focused piece of branding, shaped around what your particular idea needs. Perhaps you are launching a collection within an existing business, or you are creating a collaboration, introducing a new offer or finally bringing a side project into the world, or you might already know the feeling you want to create, but need help translating it into something visual.
This is where I come in.
We look at what you are creating, who it is for and what you want people to feel when they discover it. Those conversations help shape the design, so the decisions have a purpose and the identity feels like it belongs to you. The scope will vary from project to project and what matters to me is that the elements work beautifully together and give you a clear direction to carry forward.
I think there can be a temptation to keep adding when you are creating something new.
Another colour, another font, another reference you have saved and fallen in love with. And, as someone who loves a good moodboard, I completely understand and part of my role is finding the thread that connects it all and sometimes, the most useful thing we can do is give a few carefully chosen elements room to breathe. That is often where the personality starts to come through.

The Brand Visual Intensive
…
My Brand Visual Intensive creates a dedicated two-week space for this kind of focused visual work.
It is for founders who have a clear direction and are ready to bring it to life through a considered identity. Perhaps your business has evolved and your visuals need to catch up. Perhaps you have something new to launch and want it to feel cohesive from the beginning.
We work closely together, looking at where you are now, what you are moving towards and the visual priorities that will support that next step. From there, we agree a focused scope and develop a direction that feels aligned with the business behind it.
I love this part of the process: getting to know the person behind the idea, understanding what matters to them and finding the details that make it feel like theirs.
The Brand Visual Intensive takes place over two weeks, with an investment of ÂŁ2,222.
If you are still finding clarity around your audience, positioning or wider business direction, we can explore whether a deeper branding project would better support you. There is room for both approaches, depending on what you need.
So, do you have something you are ready to bring to life? I would love to hear about it. We can explore how the Brand Visual Intensive could help give it a clear direction, a distinct personality and a visual world that feels like you.
