I founded Studio Kynd in 2020, building an independent design practice shaped by intuition, curiosity and a deeply considered approach to creativity. Entirely self-taught, my path into design was unconventional. After being rejected from design school, I trained and worked as an oncology nurse before finding my way back to creativity during the pandemic and that experience still shapes the way I design today: listening closely, noticing what others might overlook and balancing intuition with intention. What began with sharing my work online quickly grew into an international studio, working with founders and businesses around the world across brand identity, art direction and graphic design.

I lead the creative direction and design of every Studio Kynd project, with a practice influenced by art, interiors, architecture, travel and the quiet beauty of things made to last. I am endlessly drawn to thoughtful details, earthy materials and that beautiful tension between refinement and imperfection.

Six years on, Studio Kynd has grown into an award-winning independent design studio, and my work has taken me around the world and led to an ongoing relationship with Adobe as a Community Leader and ambassador.

At its heart, my philosophy remains simple: create thoughtfully, question the expected and make work that feels as considered as the people and ideas behind it.

ON INSPIRATION

You will find me in another country, exploring hidden corners of London, National Trust gardens, antique markets, art galleries and design-led spaces where someone has thought deeply about how it feels to simply be there.

Long hikes, wild swimming, time spent simply being in nature; unhurried, present and completely away from a screen.

I find inspiration not in trends but in things that have already stood the test of time and I bring all of it into the brands we build.
